Tiffani & Trent - Cape Charles

I actually met Tiffani & Trent at another October wedding in Cape Charles. They weren’t guests….they just happened to be driving by while we were inside the big white tent setting up for a beautiful day. They asked me to return to the Shore the next day to talk about their wedding the following October, and the rest is history!

These two wanted an upscale, backyard dinner party and I absolutely love how it came together! Tiffani considers herself to be quite the foodie, so the dinner was extremely important to her. She wanted as many locally sourced foods as possible and a menu paying tribute to the Eastern Shore. Chef Johnny Mo from Mallard’s at the Wharf knocked it out of the park and the guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. The s’mores served after dinner were a hit too!

They also wanted classic decor that wasn’t overdone, but was still beautiful. Since we were hosting the wedding in the yard of a beach house rental, we knew we really needed to capitalize on all the pretty it came with and build on that. Eastern Shore Events & Rentals came through, as they always do, with the most perfect rentals to bring the vision to life. Between the endless string lights and the Eastern Shore crafted farm tables, the whole place looked like a dream!

Florist By The Sea also provided the most incredible greenery garlands to adorn the farm tables, making the whole tent feel so organic and welcoming. Not to mention, it smelled amazing! The bouquets those ladies created were, per usual, nothing short of stunning.

Another thing that was important to Tiffani & Trent was making sure that their guests had plenty to do, both at the wedding, and in the days leading up to it. They arranged for guests to go golfing at Bay Creek Golf Resort, meet for Brunch at The Shanty, and go for a tour at my absolute favorite of all time, Chatham Vineyards. On the wedding day, they made sure to have plenty of yard games available to their guests. Giant Jenga was a huge hit!

Working on the Eastern Shore is one of my favorite thing, in large part due to how gorgeous it always is. Literally…always. But I have to admit that my favorite part of working on that side of the Chesapeake Bay is the unbelievable people I’ve gotten to know and get to work with. They’re the kindest and some of the most talented vendors I’ve ever met. Everyone is always so welcoming and they really make this “job” of mine a total blast.

A huge bonus about this wedding, was that I also got to bring a few of my favorite Hampton Roads vendors over the bridge with me! The Dhalia Edwards team and Stephanie Michelle Hair treated Tiffani and her ladies to the best pampering while they got ready. And I finally got to have a wedding with my sweet friend Amanda from Stellar Exposures! We’d been dying to work together for so long and we really had the best day together. Here are a few of my favorite images she got from the day. Enjoy!
